Ptea Clara is a children house in Cambodia and provides homes to about 50 children who were abandoned or given by struggling parents. As part of community development, Ptea Clara also supports school of 73 children around the establishment.
The organization aims at helping children living in poverty and provide them accommodation, food and medical care.
The story of this humanitarian project starts with the opening of the association in April 2009 by Gilles and Sandra Rousseau. Ptea Clara means Clara’s house. The name Clara comes from the name of their daughter adopted in Cambodia.
Ptea Clara offers more than a home to children. It gives the children the opportunity to leave poverty by giving them access to education.
Part of the benefits of Phoceamekong goes to the Ptea Clara association.
